Important Information - COVID-19

Due to the current uncertainty and concern with regard COVID-19, we have taken the difficult decision to close our office to the general public with immediate effect. This decision was taken in order to ensure the on-going safety of our staff, clients and tenants.

Although the office will be closed, we will still be in a position to answer all calls (9.30am -5.00pm) through our call divert system. Should you encounter issues with getting through please call Dal on 07989 114068 in cases of emergency.

Until further notice we will not be conducting any face to face viewings for available properties. We are in the process of preparing commentary videos that can be sent directly to prospective tenants. We also hope to have these videos available on our website.

TENANTS

Like ourselves, contractors are facing similar difficulties and we would ask you to exercise patience on having reported issues dealt with.

Legal requirements such as gas safety checks are still being carried out at present and as we have a Duty of Care to all contractors, we ask that should you or any member of your household are in self-isolation or displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, you make us aware beforehand.

Our contractors, to a large extent will be dealing only with more serious issues. We would therefore ask that tenants exercise a degree of common sense when reporting faults. We would regard emergencies as:

Damage to property

No heating or hot water

Severely blocked toilets/sinks ( slowly draining is NOT an emergency)

Dangerous electrics

Please note that the above is only guidance. If you are unsure about the seriousness of your particular issue please do call us.

Should you be experiencing difficulty with meeting your rental obligations due to reduction in hours or wages, please contact your Local Authority who will advise you on how to claim Universal Credit. We would also ask that you contact us immediately.

LANDLORDS

In order to support landlords, who will also be experiencing financial issues, we have taken the decision that even if no rental payments are received from tenants, we will continue to manage your property as usual, without limit of time.

We will endeavour to process rental payments as quickly as possible but would ask that you exercise patience should there be delays to payments

We would ask that you work with us when dealing with tenants who are experiencing difficulty in meeting their rental commitments.

All of the above decisions have not been taken lightly. The safety of our clients, tenants, staff & contractors is our highest priority and we believe that these actions go some way to achieving that.
